I live in the UK and I need to compile a report on the drama landscape in Pakistan for a company which specialises in TV series rights and deals with buying and selling of international tv series.
I was wondering if I could get an insight from you guys into which drama serials in Pakistan are currently on air and which are the most popular? ( Hum, ARY, Geo etc. )
Also I understand some Pakistani channels are also airing Turkish dramas (dubbed?) - What are your thoughts on that? Are they popular? Or do people tend to stick to local productions?
Any thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated.
Alvida on Hum Tv airs currently and quite a lot of people (myself included) love that drama
As for turkish ones, i think Ary airs one (it might have finished by now) called Masoom i think? Don't really like to watch turkish or dubbed ones because i watch enough non-pakistani stuff anyway.
