FA./ F.Sc
B.A./ B.Sc.
M.A./ M.Sc.
M.Phil./ Ph.D*
I am talking about American schools ...
FA./ F.Sc: Will qualify you with a high school degree and you can apply for any college with a TOEFL or SAT.
B.A./ B.Sc: Is considered some college. You don't get any degree per say but if you apply for a bachelors program, you can transfer your credits. For example, it's a great idea for people to do BSc in Math & Stat if they are planning on pursuing a bachelors degree in Engineering in US.
Now, if you have done a four year college Bachelors, for example from UET or some 4-year university, you can get into graduate schoo in USl! You have to be careful with NUST, which has a 3-year engineering program. I know of some schools that don't consider it's degree equivalent to a 4-year Bachlors, as they are concerned with the years, not the course material. Though there are number of US institutions that honor NUST degree as equivalent to a four-year Bachlor degree in US.
M.A./ M.Sc: If this is after two-year BA/BSc, then it's equivalent to a bachelors degree. So, you are eligible to apply for graduate school here in the united states or a second degree bachelors.
M.Phil./ Ph.D: I doubt M.Phil is considered anything ... other than maybe transfer credits for graduate school. I am not sure about Ph.D
