I didnt get to study in Pakistan but I was wondering what the Pakistani social studies/history books say about 14th August and 23rd March? And also if their views differ from what the west believes.
What does the west say about these days??They dont even have to since these days dont mean anyhting to them. I havent read any books written by any european/western authors on the independence of the subcontinent but this is what i remember from my Matric days:
In Pak: 14th August is the day of independence
23 Mar: when the declaration of independence was passed I belive.
