Everyone has neighbours. North Indians got the cool Pakistanis, South Indians have the warm Sri Lankans, Bengalis have the Bangladeshis etc etc 
Still people from other parts of India can find similarities with Pakistan. The whole name of India and even Hindu originated from Indus river which runs through Pakistan so im sure there are cultural similarities we are not fully aware of yet. Through archaeological discoveries and studies of historical texts we will discover more.
