Imani Studio in Ilford Lane has nice stuff

Re: Pakistani Bridal Shops London

OOooohhh I know about a lot of pakistani style shops!

Okay, Ilford Lane has the following shops:

Phulkari - (has a lot of Indian designers but also carriers Pakistani designers like Threads and Motifs)
Imani Studio - has a LOT of pakistani designer outfits, ready made pret stuff but also can made things to order
Gul Mohar - has some beautiful stuff, one of my fave Pakistani shops in London
RDC - Pakistani stuff, some traditional, some more western, not bad. Prices are expensive for some outfits but there are reasonable stuff
Guls Style - you already know about
There’s another shop called Beejees and one more called Ramsha you could check out, but they’re not amazing

I know there’s a shop in Bakers Street called o’Nitaa which carries designer wear and bridal wear (check here: Onitaa - The Essense of Asian Couture)

Ummm there’s another imani studio in Manchester as well

Southall - the one one I really know about is Mongas which is quite popular, but again not cheap, and may not have very pakistani stuff, they’re kinda a mix

Birmingham has a few things, like Khushboos and Meena’s Bazaar, but there’s loads of shops there you can visit and they also do a lot of made-to measure!

If I think of more, I’ll post!

And Green Street but I’m not suc

I think there is a bridal show that "Asianan" is organizing in London - any plans of going there - maybe you can find some exciting retailers under 1 roof.

Re: Pakistani Bridal Shops London

Thank u sooo much Mad hatter...such helpful info :-) :-)

Yeh I went to asiana show was awesome and got great inspiration. But only pakistani designers were rdc and khusboos in bham there. However RDc's collection was definately the best.

I'm going to have a look in ilford tomoro just to first get an idea of prices and colours :-)

Re: Pakistani Bridal Shops London

Since its being discussed here already, can someone also suggest any good Pakistani or Asian shops in London where I can find a pretty wedding purse.

Thanks in advance :-)

Re: Pakistani Bridal Shops London

Wedding purses I think green street is fantastic. Youll have to really look around and haggle but some shops have beautiful purses. Some quite overpriced so u really have to haggle. I cant remember name of shop but its far down down street around where Daminis is.

As for bridal lenghas i went yesterday to ilford lane and RDC were the only one who stood out for me. Plus the owner is just so nice. Other stuff were quite pricey going over £3k which I think is too much for me. Guls stuff seemed bit bland but then again she just handed me card and said its bridal appointment only...why she didnt offer me appointment times etc i dont know. There was one lengha which was okk not even that wow...it was £3600 :-S so is ghuls more overpiced?

Next stop for next weekend im thinking booking bridal appointments in southall? Or should i go bhirmingham for pakistani lenghas?

Re: Pakistani Bridal Shops London

Hi Elysee

Have you found your outfit yet ?

I'm not sure if your planning to head to to Manchester, but my cousin's just had both her Bridal and Walima outfits made by " Shadi Mubarak"

OMG they've done an amazing job. She was in tears, as the outfits were even better then she expected.

They do proper Pakistani style - If you can i think it would be worth the trip - and you'll probably save yourself thousands as the prices were very reasonable - i think she paid about 2500 in total for both the outfits.

Anyway good look with your wedding

Hope it helps
