I am off for Dubai soon and looking for Pakistani bookstore where I can buy urdu books.
also looking for a shop to buy DVDs of Pakistani origin, like the movie BOL and Pakistani dramas

Hey,
Just saw this post. Umm there's quite a few stores with Urdu books in Ghuwair and Rolla, which are areas in Sharjah. We used to get books for Urdu classes in Sharjah so you should try that one. When it comes to Dubai, you can look in old Karama. I'm sure there's bound to be some there too. I'll ask around! I haven't bought Urdu books in yonks! Best bet is still Sharjah.
