Pakistani Batting

Re: Pakistani Batting

^ I agree regarding Umar Amin part, I am very disappointed in him too but then I only saw him in one match.

Re: Pakistani Batting

Umar Amin has definately disappointed. He looks like he has a good technique. He doesnt play those Farhat kind of shots but he still hasn made runs. Dont know why.

Re: Pakistani Batting

Umar Amin seems short of confidence. I hope he is replaced in next match by Yasir Hameed.

Re: Pakistani Batting

The newcomers have bitterly disappointed. I mean it is not like we expect centuries on debut, but the talent and the determination to succeed should be there. Both of these two key ingredients were sorely missing, leading one to wonder how they were selected to be in the squad. Are they the two best batting prospects in Pakistan?

Compare with Aamer who made his debut not too long ago. He didn't exactly set the world on fire straight away, but he had a never say die attitude, and his raw talent was there for all to see. Compare with our namoonay batsmen who seem like they are looking for the fastest possible way back to the safety of the pavilion. I mean Azhar Ali walked when he wasn't even out! That is criminal, and shows a total lack of presence of mind. Some things you either have or you don't, no amount of experience in the world can change that. Just ask the countless "bright" batting talents who have appeared and disappeared in the past 10 years....
