Re: pakistani bands

hey everyone
thanks for all the replies..i really appreciate it ....:)

Re: pakistani bands

i really loved fuzon when i was very young , then i fell in love eith strings when i grew up a bit and at present jal is all i can think about !!!! ya , ya , ok . only successful paki bands are bought to india , which becomes a rage gradually . latest , call was in the mtv moto alert , but i really didnt liked the voice of the lead singer , kind of fata hua !!!! but liked the tunes , exspecialy "sab bhula ke" and the videoes too .

Re: pakistani bands

eP’s such a Tool copy

but thanks for the replies guys. it’s time i got back into the pakistani music scene.

Re: pakistani bands

^ just because a band with guitars n drums with good lyrics which are in urdu and compositions of their own doesnt make them a western band xerox. at least eP tried to be original with their concepts from the album cover to the videos. tool cannot be compared to any band in the world. haan there are similar bands like tool but eP isnt one of them.

pakistanis will always remain skeptical of any talent that comes out of pakistan.

Re: pakistani bands

puhleez...the way that the lead singer sings for eP is the exact copy of Tool's characteristic styling. From their composition to their style of singing...i still maintain eP's a copy. nothing original in that. yea, to some back home...it's ground breaking...but in reality it isn't.

same goes for that weird band which tries to be a copy of Linkin Park.

there's better talent in pakistan than eP.

Re: pakistani bands

strings is a nice band.

Re: pakistani bands

My favorite is Mekaal Hassan.

Re: pakistani bands

hey sami bhai i have been thru many of eP threads and i found that you were supporting them all the way :halo: . okay now i do agree that while ep may sound intriguing to many backhome pakis (you included) those in touch with other western bands can easily tell the secret.. and yes i have to agree that while THEY ARE INDEED TO SOME POINT ATLEAST A COPY OF WESTERN BANDS (Linkin Park anyone??), but still i like them okay without the english rapping bits by that fat blob…

Re: pakistani bands

how many linkin park wanna-bes are out there now? from videos to songs? it's getting a tad bit ridiculous. i'm surprised that that hasn't been a copy of evansecense so far. after all, they are as mainstream as linkin park by now.

Re: pakistani bands

Hey guys check out my thread "Wannabe-ism Pak Music (Evolution band)" to throw a bit more light on this topic..
