I have a hypothetical question for you that i cannot fully answer due to my profound lack of cricket knowledge:

If i tell you that the Pakistani Dream team consists of: (with no wicketkeeper)

Saeed Anwar
Hanif Mohammad
Inzimam
Javed Miandad
Shahid Afridi
Imran Khan
Wasim Akram
Shoaib Akhtar
Mushtaq Ahmed
Waqqar Younis

What would the indian team look like and who will win?
Im sure they will have Gavaskar , Kapil Dev and Tendulkar and who else?

Search the archives....you are likely to find several versions of ALL TIME 11s.

btw, the above team is for Test Match or One Day or Gulli-Danda (20/20 i.e.) ??

My apologies Acrobi:

I know that i have not included several of pakistans better players (mainly because i dont want to look up the statistics and throw them down)... I would much rather have seen the players play cause thats what i can relate to.. (And honstly i havent seen hanif mohammed but i know he is good!)
I included Shahid Afridi only because he is an entertainer... plus when you have 4 really good batsmen in front of you... what the team would really need is a guy that can blast the ball at least in a one day series!

So some1, lets say its a 50 over one day match... what would the indian team be and in your opinion will it win?

For the all time Indian 11, I can’t think of anybody else at the moment besides Ganguly and Agarkar .

yarr we are supposed to select a ODI team not a test team…replace gavaskar with Dada Ganguly, bedi with Robin singh and kirmani with farokh engineer and you are good to go…

Actually, with all jokes apart, Indian all time ODI XI is incomplete without Ganguly. He is 2nd highest century maker for India and constituted one half of india’s best ( probably world’s 2nd best) opening pair.
Mohinder Amarnath and Farrukh should also make cut .

The All-time teams from Indo-Pak (cricket) fights could never be complete without Malik(Salim)-Ejaz-Akram trio for Pak and DI (in background) and Azhar for India. Also these matches must be staged in Sharjah for maximum entertainment and joy both inside the game and inside the game. :)

I really dont agree with the shoddy treatment Gangs has got from the Indian board. To treat a former captain like that is a disgrace.
