How do I know..
I live in El Paso… My wife works for the El Paso Hyatt, so she met these three guys staying at the hotel from the Pak Airforce who said they are here to make some purchase from Ratheon… They ctually flew direct from Pakistan for the purchase.
El Paso has a huge Army base so im not to surprised, plus New Mexico is only a 15 minute drive… The US airforce has all kindsof instalations in New Mexico.
I think they are here purchasing that new Radar system, anyone have any insight on this?

Im just wondering if you know what they might be purchasing… Think its a radar system but wondering about the details. I know Ratheon has some specific things that they were supposed to sell to Pak…

It could be the radars…
Did your wife get any hint abt the ranks of the PAF officers? we can roughly try and gauge the level of the delegation’s scope etc.

Apparently they are getting AMRAAM missles. Aswell as some sidewinders…
TUCSON, United States: Pakistan is buying 700 air-to-air missiles made by the US defence group Raytheon for $284 million. Pakistan is purchasing 500 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), the largest international order for this weapon, and 200 short-range AIM-9M Sidewinder missiles, Raytheon said in a statement on Monday.

Not a very high range missile but at least PAF can now be said to be “BVR capable”.. 
I guess the advantage would be that PAF planes can fire multiple missiles at one time? I don’t know if we have the active guidance with our chinese missiles?

PAF will be getting the Pak-China made SD-10 BVR with the JF-17 Thunder as well if they haven’t already got them.

Yes possibly since we wouldn't be able to fit them on F-16s. Kamra etc is not that advanced yet like IAI to mess with the configuration of the radars yet.
