One more Pakistani star is making a move to Mumbai. Lahore-based Mikaal Zulfiker who has made quite an impact in England as the young closet-terrorist in Jagmohan Mundhra’s Shoot On Sight, is all set to move to Mumbai in January 2009.
Mikaal has stopped all work in Pakistan, Another reason for quitting Lahore is the banning of his film in his country. “I’m unhappy with the way Shoot On Sight got banned. The reason given was that I was shown as a terrorist. I guess the condition in our country is such that they don’t want any trouble. But Shoot On Sight states harsh facts. Initially, I was hesitant about playing the terrorist. But when I went through the script about the way Muslims are seen in the world. There’re so many suicide bombers who believe they’re soldiers in a war. These are innocent kids who’re misled and brainwashed.”
Naseerji has made me his son. He has told me to stay with him in Mumbai. It’s important to have a godfather in Bollywood. Ironically, the only other film that I’ve done so far The Godfather (featuring Vinod Khanna) was released only in Pakistan and not in India. So things have evened out."
Mikaal’s family is all for his move to Mumbai. “It’s the largest film industry in the world. So they’re all for it. My father is Pakistani and my mother is English. So, I’m half-gora half-Pakistani. I was born in London and I got my goraa-pan from my mom. But I am more Asian. My parents are separated. So I keep moving between Lahore and London. My sisters are in London. So I sort of identified with Naseerji’s family in Shoot On Sight.”

Whats the point though? i don't think he is even known in his own country properly forget about India..i don't think he will get the main hero work in yashraj/johar films anyway not even in other banners actually- but he is willing to move to do side roles.

aur jo samjtha hai .. gadhon ki tarah naachna aur woh bhi aurton k saath ..aur jiss ka naam zulfiqaar ho .. naam e zulfiqar ki hi na qadar karey aur samjhey acha hai .. to mujhe ban qabool hai ..

Oh okay...mein thought its a gaali. Aur kuch aata bhi toh nahi hai isko..plus he thinks he is all that for some reason toh janay do, do tight jootay paray gay ek ek gaal par toh saari khush fehmiya khudi chor kay bhaag jayeh gi. waisay bhi isko poochay ga kaun.

yeh true ..kuch hi din pehley i heard somewhere or read k some pakistani actor got beat up in mumbai .. to iss ka bhi yeh hi hashar hona hai ..
iss kambakht ka to naam hi pehli dafa sun raha hoon ...kambakht hi hai . ke india waley ghair ho kar pakistan par hamla karna chaahey hein lekin yeh kambakht khud chal kar un ke door step pe jaa kar thappar khaaney jaa raha hai .. iss se bari aur bewafaaa / aur mulk se ghaddari kia ho sakti hai .. aur kehta hai k aisian hai aur lahore mein rehta hai ..

i doubt there are any chances for him and imran abbas to do an acting as aba jaan in near future…if i m not wrong they both are in their mid-thirties

ps. the same terrorist were shown in Syriana that how young kind are trapped in exchange of some false promises and then they are brainwashed. otherwise why dont these, mullahs, generals, or bhai loug send their own children, brothers to these terror operation.
and i also dont get it why pakistani dont show reality in their movie and let the holly-bolly show anything they can in Pakistan.

guys guys chill...i read this news...instep published it...this story was originally published by some indian newspaper...mikaaal cleared it up on the very next day to instep that HE IS NOT MOVING THERE and its just a rumor stirred up by that particular newspaper...they misinterpreted his words. he said he can't even imagine of living in mumbai cause it is too crowded. also his future projects include working in mehreen jabbars next drama malaal so yeah he is not going anywhere this is all just false news.
