Pakistan’s first Online Graveyard…

There is a graveyard in Karachi, which belongs to the Shia community, and it is
the most perfectly maintained graveyard. The graves are in straight line, and each grave has an identical tombstone.

Relatives can offer “Fateh” through the Internet which can be relayed through the speakers of the graveyard, or they can open their relatives grave web page and see the condition of the grave and offer fateh.

Next in the works are showing the whole funeral online from Ghusal to the Burial.

Interesting. I am sure those relatives who are at far-off places, would like to use this website.

Online video streaming of funeral is fine, but I don't think showing 'ghusal' would be appropriate. Rather it will be very gross.

I agree with Faisal.
Okay this is intresting but its also a bit weird...so can anyone jus open someone elses grave page?

As a family historian.

I think good that this cemetery is keeping records and an asset that they are being kept online.

Gives an opportunity to find an ancestor/relative and say a prayer for their soul.
