I find it interesting that a lot of people in this thread are commenting on her looks and beauty (or the lack thereof) instead of discussing the issue at hand.
I agree with Fraudia, there's nothing 'official' about her representation of Pakistan. She's just someone of pakistani decent who wants to create a stir in the world. I often wonder what goes on through these peoples minds knowing the kind of opposition they would garner with their acts, and the only thing that seems to make sense is that they know and understand the kind of negative fame they will get and perhaps they even revel in it.
Its her decision to do what she wants to do.. And if by becoming a part of this competition she has brought disgrace upon herself and her country... To those who think like that I must say its not her but you who is a disgrace by thinking like that..
Yo Go Girl! Let this mullas scream and yell.. after all thats all they know how to do.. They are close minded and dont know any better!
Pakistan Zindabad!
I'm among the westerns, who think these beauty pageants are demeaning and degrading, they are highly educated, intellectuals and religious.
When there was the protest going on, against the publication of Cartoons of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the head of Religious Education Dep. brought the catholic paper inwhich Pope had condemned it, to show me.
Beauty is defined differently among different people. For example, your newsreader women thread. Everyone that you mentioned was butt ugly. The only one worth mentioning in that thread was the French chick.
Personally, I don’t think this Pakistani chick is pretty at all. She needs to lose her thunder thighs.
Islamically speaking what she is doing is simply wrong. Representing the 2nd largest muslim nation and doing what she's doing is also wrong cause it doesn't define a Pakistani.
That's one answer and the other answer is...
She's crossed the border and theres nothing you can do about it.

Oh get real
Pakistani terrorists blew up that Train in London and killed 52 people is a bigger sin than this girl posing in a bikini.....
Oh you get real buddy... a sin is a sin. Just because some maniac in a third world country does something crazy doesn't mean you start stripping your clothes off and start posing.
The 52 deaths indeed were wrong but you're forgetting the reasons behind it.
I think we have discussed the crap out of this thread and instead of few posters the discussion really made no sense. I am closing this thread, if any of you want to re-open the thread, please PM me with a revelant reason. Thanks.
