Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

LAHORE: For the first time, a Pakistani girl has participated in an international beauty pageant, reports website DesPardes.com.

Houston-based Pakistani-American Mariyah Moten, 22, represented Pakistan at the “Miss Bikini of the Universe” pageant held in Beihai, a summer resort city in south China, on August 28…

What the hell… Has the Pakistani government gone so low as not to even officially condemn her!

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

i totally support her decision to do what she did

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

These kind of issues are handled by ISI.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

I am glad Pakistan is coming out of the shadows of Whabbism...

Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and many other Islamic nations have long send participants to these beauty contests.

Why should Pakistan be the most backward and fanatic islamic nation upholding the most backward arab traditions.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

yeah whatever- she is not even that pretty, i guess being the only girl participating from pakistan she got in the competition.

mercury- thats the stupidest excuse ive heard 'just because our fellow muslim countries are supporting it we should support it too'... if someone islamic countries are going against islamic law, we should condomn such actions not start following them blindly.

and sorry, by not participating in show shows doesnt make them backward, Pakistani girls rather get judged by their character, intelligence, grace than by their bodies on display for the whole world to see.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

Nicely explained. Jazak'Allah.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

erg....not surpriseddddd

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

we dont want to match the peak of liberalism worldwide

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

how can someone represent a country when not sanctioned by some sort of official backing from the country.

right or wrong, agree or disagree..

btw I am Pakistans reigning jai alai champion..

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

are you jealous?

The hell r u saying?

Pakistanis living in Pakistan and abroad have done a lot more worse and immoral things than participating in this beauty contest......

And if some Pakistani girls feels that she wants to participate in a beauty contest...

who the hell r u to say anything about it?

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

haha you beat me to it, was about to post the same exact thing... Just because a Pakistani chooses to participate in 'i can eat 2352 sausages in a fest' competition in LA doesnt mean hes sanctioned by Pakistan.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

What in the hell this has to do with Paki politics and economics?

FARID

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

First of all, learn some manners before comming and start barking at me!

Secondly, you are the one who is confused bring everything into this, why cant u just discuss one thing at a time. What you have bring in is totally off-topic. We are discussing beauty contests here not what every flan flan Pakistani living out side Pakistan is upto.

and where did i say anything about her personally? IF she is using Pakistan's name as her platform (which she is) then as a Pakistani its my right to raise my voice if there is something i feel Pakistan should not be supporting. I'm as Pakistani as she is and both of us are using Pakistan's name but its upto the government to take a final step and support or condomn. But i feel its my personal right to let my views known.

and as for me getting jelous of her? LMAO, yeah come up with something better next time... i also believe its my right to judge her since she asked for it- thats why she is there isnt she? She wants to be judged.

lastly, i dont want some random nosy indian uncle telling me ( us Pakistanis) what is best for Pakistan... so get yourself out of here and register at some indian forum where your input may be worth something...or better yet you should go on a future miss india hunt since India's chance are very glim of winning miss world/universe title...engage your energy where it is needed!

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

brown eye, im sorry, but you sound* sooo *jealouys.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

She is ugly, ...

I’m sure there’s plenty of women in Pakistan coming from Mirasi families who’ll do this kind of thing and they can do as the please but please don’t pretend to represent a Pakistan as a country, because reducing women to sex toys is an American or British thing not a Pakistani thing, it goes completely against our Muslims values and principles.

Why do we look to the west for everything? What's so great about their filthy culture? What will it achieve? A scratch between the ears? What do you gora-wannabes want from your masters a piece of pedigree chum?

Why can't we just follow their good things like equality and laws against racial discrimination? Which are actually relatively new to their society and have roots in our Islamic society but we're forgetting them.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

so she is freaking ugly huh?

you will be lucky if your parents find a girl 1/4 as good looking as her for you and if she doesnt reject u.....:D

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

nice try to get attention as miss pakistani thing. its american thing, and she is american anyway.

Re: Pakistan’s first Miss Bikini 2006

Yeah she’s a minger, she looks more like the agency staff they get imported to this country from chatna-patna than a Muslim girl.

I have no right to judge anyones soorat but it’s her seerat which shows through and makes her more ugly than she is.

My chadar-clad beloveds beauty is a sacred thing so I wont mention it here but I’ll just say a Punjabi saying I heard from my friends, ae uss de pichey sittey wi nai chundi.

Our society does not need these things, bayhayai se impress hona &*#@$%!^ logon ki fitrat mein hain, we're content with our Islamic ways and values.
