I dont consider it as a insult rather ignore since they didnt invite NS to speak. Not that they blamed or used Pakistan’s word in negative way. Now they should have invited him for sure and i read in express tribune that Saudis have now formally acknowledged it as a mistake.
Those who were invited where either those who have very high stakes like Egypt or have better economies.
But thats what happens when you are not self-dependent, not a thrilling economy etc. So all Pak needs is to read whats written on the wall. World is moving on very rapidly. They are not going to remember Pakistan’s sacrifices anymore. The only way out is to become economic giant and a self-reliant nation. It takes time but thats the only way.

If PM or head of any civilized country involved in such corruption, woh sharam ke mare chillu bhar paani main ja kar dhoob marta hay. Jis PM ki apni koi izzat nahin why do you expect that Trump or Kings of KSA will give him? Had he some atom weight of conscious, self esteem and self respect, he should have resigned a long time ago. never really understand what do we mean when we say that world shd recognize our sacrifices in the war on terrorism? why dont we realize that the rest of the world laughs at our claim.

if that was the case, pak army would not be hiding osama bin laden for 7 years.
if that was the case, all afghan taliban would not be hiding in Quetta safely.
if that was the case, taliban heads Mullah Omar and Mllah Mansour would not have died on pak land with Pakistani passports
that is why no one believes us when we say that we lost 70K lives fighting war on terrorism. we lost these lives as part of our internal issues. we nurtured these snakes for years so that they can go and fight in kashmir. we then turned against them after 911 and they started to attack us and we had no choice but to fight against them. it is Pak internal war due to our stupid decisions, and no one has sympathy for a fool!

For years, i believed that our masses are faultless and all of our problems are due to our corrupt establishment and corrupt politicians…until 3 incidences happened and it told me that masses of this ill-fated nation are equally corrupt and we have many more darker years ahead

They laugh on this drama because performing this drama on world stage is paid for in billions of dollars. Army needs money to survive by hook or by crook. Once Zia-ul-Haq also performed this drama by playing amir-ul-moinin and breeding jehadis in the eighties. He received billions of dollars plunging the future of this unfortunate country into a pitch darkness.

This self-denial have earned us what we have got today!
We went into this mode because we in Pakistan have officially labeled politicians as traitors and men in uniform as patriots.
We have further concluded that any party gets in power because They want it and is thrown out because again They want it to be like this.
We feel proud in any anchor who insults elected PM/President, mind it, these insults are totally based on heresay and none have got any other issue or subject..
Be it Zardari or NS and i must say both have done great work to get Pakistan out of mess since 2008, they must be insulted, they must be riduculed from 6-11 pm 7 days a week…there good work must not be highlighted but even a hint of bad thing should be story of week till new story comes in…
If we do not respect our govt…how come others would be doing it?

this is also an important aspect. our masses including educated ones preach for a value-based life but practically speaking they, for the most part, hate institutions… hate the fundamental sense of democracy, want an easy way out for everything, will start yelling army army army after every incidence, want to kick out every govt. Just wait if PTI comes into power, in 6 months we will be calling it the most corrupt govt as well and will be requesting army to kick it out. there is no room for army govt in 21st century and it will disgrace the nation further. no matter how bad our system is or our politicians are , we will need to work with the system to get through this mess.

Not at all. My explicit views against Zardari are obvious. I wish Pakistan regained its dignity by electing honest leadership who when catch even real brother involving in corruption or criminal act, should go to jail.

The whole thing was show boating by Trump and House of Saud. Pak should realize arabs have much to lose by CPEC success. UAE being the primary loser. Why not align with Iran instead? History will show that House of Saud is a farce spreading Wahhabism evil ideology to keep Iran at bay and to use them as boogeyman to stay in power. Can’t wait for Saudi oil to run dry. Pak should learn to pick sides wisely. Iran Saudi conflict is great news for US defense industry.
Iran is also run by goons. However there is a seismic change on cards in 20 years. With Iran going more liberal/main stream. No good can come with Pak picking Sides with a Saudi led coalition. Stay neutral or lean with Iran. Pak China and Iran to counter Arab cult. We need peace on western border with Iran and Afghanistan.
