Thanks for the link (Sharjeel appears to be quite talented. very strong on the on-side. Strokeplay + Timing remind me of Saeed Anwar, though Saeed was mainly an offside player) … but seriously I do not really watch domestic stuff that much

Tests: Taufeeq Umar atleast for now
ODIs: Ahmed Shehzad (2 limited overs hundreds already) - his problem is temperament or composure not technique, Shahzaib or Sharjeel

Yes worth trying Asad out as a test opener but Taufeeq (missed out against Zimbabwe in the one off test) has been pretty solid too since him comeback - a test average of 38.22 in 32 tests
