A few close calls in the tour, the 1st ODI and 2nd T20I went down to the wire but Pakistan have done well with an inexperienced side to complete a clean sweep in all formats.

As for the bowling, it was a mistake right from the start to drop all three of our main pace bowlers, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz and Tanvir Ahmed + Abdur Rehman

Its not a great achievement, but to be honest, it had to be done. Not a lot of teams would have done the 6-0. (Test + 3ODIs + 2T20I)

Hafeez easily the man of the series across all formats

Cheema impressed on debut

Both Sohails (Khan and Tanvir) need to go. Sohail Khan easily the most rubbish bowler

Hopefully Junaid will improve and not turn into another Sami!

Younis and Misbah improved their ODI games a bit.

Malik had a forgettable tour; failed in every single game on this tour

Even though it's Zimbabwe, credit to Misbah as well for maintaining his winning streak as captain, just one defeat in 14 games since becoming full-time captain ... You can only beat what's put in front of you!!

Abdul Razzaq and Hammad Azam should be selected ahead of Malik for the tougher series against SLA and England

And Afridi needs to return to the side only as a player (in ODI and T20)

I dont have much hope from Junaid Khan. He is a useless bowler and unlike Mohammad Sami who DID have good performances initially (5 wickets on debut, a hattrick), Junaid khan has done absolutely nothing. I will be glad to be proved wrong.

I believe it is time for the board to break player power for good, if any player decide to retire over a controversy that should be the end of his career, this will create discipline in the team... Afridi, doesn't matter how good or bad he is, but Abdur Rehman or new talent should be brought in... the one who leaves let him not play with the dignity of the country, because these players adopts cheap tactics to get their means and make PCB and Pakistan look like a drama..

GA, are you kidding me here....His reflexes are slower than how they were 6 years ago, how do you you justify your statement?

What about Sharjeel Khan? The guy is opener, the guy CAN handle fast bowling, to me the best batting talent that I have seen in Pak since Umar Akmal, Asad and Umar Amin.

We all think about Afridi this way because of his brainless slogging. True batting comes off once in a blue moon but let's not rubbish him completely as a player

On bowling merit alone, Afridi deserves a place in the ODI side (leading wicket-taker in world cup etc.) + he is not a bad fielder

As for Sharjeel, have n't seen him play, hence can't comment

Plus we need hard hitters like Razzaq, Afridi and Hammad (2 of them) to make the best use of late overs / 2nd PP in 50-over games

So let me get this straight

  • You agree that he is a brain less slogger
  • You agree that his batting comes off once in a blue moon

and YET, you want him to return as opener?

As far as his bowling in concerned, I just looked up Magician’s stats today for this year and if we take out WC performance then “bigger-than-anyone-who-wears-green-shirt” has taken 6 wickets in 11 games for Pak.

Why not stick with Yasir as a full time leggie for Pak, who has shown promise with ball and in field we should atleast give him 8 or 10 games to see if he is Pak’s solution for leg spin problems, I mean what has he done wrong?
