same here....
it was around midnight my place when i decided to sleep....
i wasnt hoping for the match to resume....
but today morning, got to my office and saw cricinfo saying "west indies tumble chasing 280" and i thought "hey, how do they call it tumble when only 1 wkt had fallen so far"....
but disbelief struck me to see 114/6 and S.H.O.C.K to see lara out for a duck....
serves him right for underestimating kaneria....
someone on cricbuzz chat yesterday was saying that lara fails in the crucial times and he aint really a fourth innings hero....
ofcourse i did not buy it....
but i am glad he was proven right....
just hope no more rain to spoil our show....

i hate to remind u of the lat time we visited carribean…
the adams/walsh last wicket partnership took away the match from us…
clearly assisted by the umpires…
i hope it wont repeat…

yarr last time it was an easier target as compared to 280. They were 6 down for 169 chasing 220something so although it was a tough ask in the end when they were 9 down but yes umpires made it easy.

armu’ bhai I remember that test match you have menitoned. The legendary Wasim akram was on fire, I felt with each delivery he would take a wicket, he was amazing that day.
1st Jimmy Adams nicked one and it was a clear nick not a thin one and the damn loser wouldn’t walk, stood his ground. Then saqi’ had him or walsh plumb in front lbw decison and umpire wouldn’t give him. I couldn’t believe they survived. + Walsh was as bad a batsmen as murli is or devon malcolm was, yet he survived.
Khair, I can’t c them holding out this time, danny has landed the killer blows we needed, now it’s a matter of time tomorrow. Extremely well bowled pak, they amazed me.

Not to mention that Pakistan fielders missed two very very simple runout chances (was it Saqlain who missed both?)

Provided Pak wins this test match (if it doesnt rain), there were some great moments in this test match:
- Yunus Khan's hundred in difficult times
- Collymore 11 wickets
- Brian Lara the magnificent scoring his 30th test century
- Kaneria weaving his magic, totally destroyed WI batting in second inning and had the last laugh against lara, what a contest
- Courtney Browne's dropped catch of Inzi which proved to be the turning point
- Inzi's 22nd test hundred, seemed as if though the God's were protecting him
Pakistan sud win this match, but for me it was a great test match well balanced and everything for everybody. :Salute:

Fart... what you have forgotten and should be mentioned is Kamran Akmal's keeping. Once again he has been outstanding behind the stumps... Kaneria and all the Pakistani supporters should be thanking him.

Out of 90 overs Pak need only 4 wicket taking balls if mother nature allow inshAllah Pak will win.

If Lara cannot be labelled as a fourth innings hero, I wonder who else can! Of course cricbuzz people will try to label Sachin as the one but Lara has won many matches with his masterful chase heroics. We were lucky enough to get rid of him on nought yesterday.
Exactly. Kamran had a diasppointing one day series in India with the gloves but in this whole tour he has been absolutely fantastic.
