i think other than dropping butt, it was also a bad move by the management to send malik in as opener....
true that even at one-down he usually is on the crease in the first few overs but i think psychologically it does make a difference....

13.5 Collymore to Inzamam, no run, on the off, ball holds its line as Inzamam misreads and decides to leave it alone, he is struck on the pads, appeal for leg before turned down, may just have been missing off, Inzamam was not offering a shot there !
seems like malik and inzi did not do the nets ni their suspension time....

no i thik we all agree that there has been no consistency in selection we cant fault malik for coming in openeing for 1st time and failing in a crunch test match!
