Unbelievable.....Umar Akmal is still not out to bat yet...Now I believe the reports that Misbah is also with afridi and has problems with Waqar...as Waqar likes to promote young players with prospects like Umar which is against Misbah and Afridi's plans to cement their own places in the squad.
And I am in NO way against Asad, I think one can be fair to asad without being a unfair to Umar, who without a shadow of doubt the best batting talent of Pak, BUT misbah believes that if UMAR gets ll chances to to prove his worth, that WILL be end of misbah and thats what he will not let happen at any cost.

Dude I have. but Umar Akmal has always batted at the same position since his debut and has done quite well. So your conspiracy theory is not applicable in my opinion. Plus Misbah does not seem the sort and has stayed controversy free throughout :)

Salman unfortunately does not seem to be that much of a handy batsmen. Today was his chance to nail his spot… oh well, abhi tu baaki series pari hai.

If he has done quite well, then why did the controversy free Misbah did not play him in any of his 4 games as captain (2 VS SA, 2 VS NZ)?
And secondly, when he batted at 6, it was because there were established batsman before him on his first tour in NZ (Moyo, Faisal, and Misbah Himself) and even then he did not bat at 6, he batted at 5.
Do you not belive that your best batsman should be given chance to bat longer period of time, where do you think is that possible? at 6 or at 4 or even 5 (5, if you are obsessed with seniority as main criteria for batsman's batting position in team and not the talent/potential).

We find conspiracy in everything, even if we see a player drinking tea there will be thousands of conspiracies as to why and who was behind that and why was he not drinking coffee because in the last match he was drinking coffee when we won. Come on Nikema you should know better.

Its not an ODI that your best batsmen HAS to bat longer? Team management may have decided that Akmal does better in shepherding the tail and hence batted him at 6.
And if we are talking about established batsmen, then Asad did establish himself in the test team when Umar Akmal batted himself out of team due to stupid shot selection. It was not misbah's fault that Umar was clueless during those days.
