At sehri time I turned on TV and they were show some news that Pakistan army fired at US helicopters. Some one has more details about it. Was it only a friendly fire to shoo them away or some real deal ?
Btw they showed this same news like 3 times in ten minutes. American media is pretty good at developing public opinion

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan - Pakistani troops and tribesmen opened fire on two U.S. helicopters that crossed into the country from neighboring Afghanistan, intelligence officials said Monday.
The helicopters did not return fire and re-entered Afghan airspace without landing, the officials said.
Pakistan’s army and the U.S. military in Afghanistan said they had no information on the reported incursion late Sunday, which will likely add to tensions between Islamabad and Washington.
A spate of suspected U.S. missile strikes into Pakistan’s border region and a raid by U.S. commandos said to have killed 15 people have angered and embarrassed Pakistani leaders while signaling Washington’s impatience with Pakistani efforts to clear out militant havens.
During a recent speech to Parliament, newly elected President Asif Ali Zardari, who is considered U.S.-friendly, warned that no country would be allowed to violate Pakistan’s sovereignty in the name of the war on terror.
Zardari is on his way to New York to attend the U.N. General Assembly, and he is expected to meet President Bush.
The two intelligence officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.
They said informants in the field told them of the incursion around one mile inside the disputed and poorly demarcated border in the Alwara Mandi area in North Waziristan, a tribal region the U.S. considers a sanctuary for Taliban and al-Qaida fighters.
A week ago, U.S. helicopters reportedly landed near Angoor Ada, a border village in nearby South Waziristan, but returned toward Afghanistan after troops fired warning shots.
A Pakistani military spokesman said last week that troops had orders to open fire in case of another cross-border raid by foreign troops.

Our public is so stupid. Arogant. Ignorant.
The americans attack us. They use our channels to supply resources to their men in Afghanistan. They have army personel in our teritory. When some media claims the americans came inside, our govt shouts back to "respect our sovereignty and that no further attacks will take place. Yet another takes place.
This cycle has been and will keep on going on and on. Firing a couple of shots at the americans is another media hyper. Why? Because the public was losing its courage of the present govt (which btw is full of looters, thugs, murders etcetc making people the bigger idiots by electing them. Ha!). To gain confidence back, the media reports some resistance to the american invasion of airspace or whtever.
No doubt events like this took place. But consider this one or two events as opposed to the countless unreported incidents. Admit it people. We need someone like the iranian president, who is "mue phut" and without any fear goes against the americans.
However we cant do that. You see, as much as we all want to lash out against the americans, we cant do it. If we do we will be thrown a bunch of sancations against us by every other country. We cant go to war against them, well, I mean really, can we?
Ofcourse if all we muslims reunite, things would be different. But we have so many issues of our own. Heck! we as pakistanis are not united, let alone the entire ummah.
There is a reason why we, pakistanis are the most jahil, gawar and illitrate people on this planet. There is a reason why the arabs are the laziest idiots on this planet. There is a reason why we are not united with each other. There is a reason why Islam is the best religion but muslims are the worst 'kaum', nation.
And the current events and historical events are a proof of that. Selfish, greedy, people. Blaming others for everything. We deserve this condition because we brought this on us. God only helps those who helps themselvs. Are we willing to even accept that the problem lies in us, let alone go about solving it?
Yea sure non muslims eat pork and commit adultry but we muslims are hypocrits. Atleast the nonmuslims know their selfs, we keep on denying it. We say we are muslims but we follow the western philosophy, aside from eating pork, we and the west are not different except we say we are muslims but infact we are not.
I will tell you all to think about it, but I wont. Because we pakistanis dont have the brains to comprehend it. You want proofe of that, just wait and see how many people rant and abuse me just by saying that pakistanis are stupid people.
