Well I guess if England loses to India in the first 2 ODI, than Srilanka and England will have same points on April 1st. However in that case Srilanka will be on the 6th spot. However if England wins any one of the first 2 matches than they are # 6 for sure.

I suggest we retain Imran Farhat for the tests, and keep Salman Butt on the bench for at least the first test, if not the entire series, and go for the same opening combination as they did last night. At least, if given enough chances, at the end of the test series, both of the openers will be quite comfortable in reading each other's thoughts and minds, and should provide more solid opening stands.

I agree.
As for other people who are hating on afridi's batting form, his bowling was on point all day today... Afridi is the kind of player who either gets out at 1 or 0, or he makes around 50 runs. I don't think it's a question of form...
it's got more to do with patience and maturity, something I hope he develops eventually (on the batting side).
