I still don't like Misbah but I have to admit he has improved his game. In the past he used to get bogged down a lot and wasted a lot of balls to get his eye in only to get out at the wrong time. Now he doesn't waste starts anymore, he follows through to score big innings.

I wouldn't call the Pakistani performance clinical or amazing. They tried to make a mess out of it! Lots of mishaps, lots of pedestrian fielding, etc...

But I'm hoping for a better performance against the Aussies and Kiwis! InshaAllah :)

yes lets drop Misbah, Shehzad, Akmal brothers , everyone. Look at Misbah’s contributions in the last few matches. We can never be satisfied. If he had hit 60 runs in the power play we would have said why didnt he hit 80 and if he had 80 we would have criticised him for not hitting 100. no pleasing some people.

Its unfair to blame Misbah for the third powerplay performance. Murali and the other fast bowler bowler superbly, and Umar Akmal struggled to hit them too. Murali isnt a legend for nothing.

Misbah and Younus seem to have found their one-day groove back simultaneously, and both are playing beautifully in the middle overs. Reminds me of the best days of Younus and Yoyo.

I think the game was really entertaining...jst how cricket should be...it was a fight till the last over...I was on the edge of my seat...I was even closing my eyes when Shahid and Shoaib were bowling.

Now please do kick Aussi butts toooooooo....somebody needs to do something abt those kangaroos...and you guys have an amazing batting line-up and are very capable of upsetting this world cup :D

I am proud of them…they have a lot to take back from this match…I felt our fielding also could improve and that Chamara Silva should not take his own sweet time getting into form

But the moment I saw Sangakkara throwing that ball over Murali’s head…I had a very bad feeling..ke kuch ghadbadh hone hi wala hai aaj

And to meet again in the finals would be wicked…but can that happen as we are in the same group???

And Thank God the MoM award went to the person (Afridi) who deserved it the most, who really turned the match

It is a batsman's game and it must have been tempting to give the MoM to Younis Khan or Misbah
