People dont show up a lot during tests I guess. Anyway I think we got off to a good start.
Shabbir bowling with danger, bounce and seam movement either way AS PREDICTED and providing 2 vital wickets with great deliveries.
Razzaq bowling military medium trundlers and wasting the new ball AS PREDICTED. Impossible to see how he can get a wicket but somehow the Pak management missed this glaringly obvious fact.
Thank God Shabbir has picked up a couple of early wickets.
Drink time. Good start by Pakistan. Shabir is bowling well but I am afriad he is bowling well in patches. He is bowling one or two loose delivries every over and once the batsmen settle down they will dispatch these to the boundry with ease. Right now as the South African batsmen are under pressure he can get away with it. Razzaq on the other hand is bowling fine. I mean fine for what he is capable of. He bowled a couple of good delivries but overall I think he is just there for the hell of being there. He doesnt look threatning right now lets see what he doesn once the ball gets old. He is capable of reverse swing but at his pace I dont know if it will be very effective.

I think this Shabir guy is a hell of a bowler. Just need some guidance otherwise the guy is very talented. I don't get impressed that easy but this Shabir he is a very good bowler.
My man Kaneria strikes in his first over. Turning the ball a yard on the first day! Wow this kid is destined for greatness.

Another bull**** incident. Now its Kallis's turn to be cry baby. When he got out Danish ran past him and accidently brushed him. A couple of stares from Kallis and right away the umpires pulled Inzimam on the side to have a word with him. What the hell is wrong with these South Africans.

You can't blame the South Africans for trying to pull a fast one, you have to question the umpires who are falling over themselve to kiss their arse.

I think Inzi is overbowling Shabir. His is bowling his 9th straight over and he bowls a good 85 mph. He must be getting tired. He is bowling well. Rest him a little and then bring him back again after an hour when he is all fired up again.
Somehow I can't see Mushy threatening the SA batsmen in quite the same way as Kaneria, although I'd love to be proved wrong.
Kaneria bowling beautifuly. Spinning the ball miles. Considering the ball is new right now, he'll create havoc later on. Lets see how we bat last on this track.

I think we need more than one person to broadcast the game, like the 4th day of last test ...when LM and teaser were broadcasting the game at the same time...
It will improve the quality as there would not be so many people watching only teaser's or LM's broadcast.

I doubt Mushy will be any threat to SA.

Razzaq doing a nice job in helping Gibbs knock his bat in. Posing absolutely no threat whatsoever. Actualy the only ball he has which doesn’t go straight onto the bat is the one which nips back in a little bit. I don’t understand why they don’t bring in a bat-pad at short leg for the inside edge. It makes more sense than having two slips as he has no ability to move the ball away from the batsman at all.
