So what has been Misbah's performance after he was dropped last time? Yet again a retarded decision. He'll fail, will get dropped again and we'll waste another chance to test a youngster before the world cup.
And then why drop Akmal when he actually performs better in limited over format? He needs to be rested for Test matches not T20s or ODIs.

Good to see Zulqarnain back, but how effective he will be in ODI's? Instead of damad they should have selected Kamran as opener.

^^ agree they should have dropped Kammi as WK but kept him as opener...
that would have given him chance to regain form in batting, ODI and T20 is has a great record
And I actually would like Zulqarnain to get into the groove for limited overs as well...
he has the stance and height to be a good hitter as well...
and to be honest, who from Pakistan who makes it this far cannot hit out when needed...they all have the ability to hit out ...plus he is good in Tests and can keep quite well...

I dont think they should keep muhammad yousuf and misbah together in the same final XI for any one-dayer. They both slow things down. One may be digestable but keeping both will result in 150 runs in every match.
I'm ok with kamran akmal axed out. They had to make this decision at some point. Good to see tanveer back though.

And one more thing, I always hated that guy Ijaz ahmed sitting in the dressing room as if he has just woke up. Good for nothing! Thanks God he is out too.

and we thought Baba Butt would take some sane decisions after all the news/rumours earlier this week. This man is a Nasoor for Pakistan cricket.
four mind boggling decisions in my view:
1- Misbah in. Tried and tested so many times. What is the point of bringing this senior non performing citizen for few months every year?
2- Akmal out. I call it mind boggling because he will be back in test where he shouldn’t be. He has been performing well in limited overs as compared to rest of the team so there was no need to drop him.
3- Intikhab Alam back in the management? Didnt he put serious allegations on the team members after the Australian tour? What is the need for putting him back in the dressing room and creating controversy? Is he the only choice for the “all important” coach position?
4- Who anonounces a national squad without a captain? They did that ealier this year before T20 WC and now again.
How can we get rid of this Buddha???

we need to get rid of Waqar only, as far as i can remember, when ever he have captianed the team..we have witnessed most embarrassing defeats… now since he is coach, we have seen a white-wash in Australia and most humiliating tour of England… Waqra need to go back to austtralia and practice with kangroos
