A poor show of batting yet again by our batsmen. Yoyo was unlucky, but apart from that, Hafeez, Hameed, Younis, Malik all got out to poor shots. Most of them got starts but never went on to make a good score. Hafeez and Younis's position in the team must be under threat.
Still it is a fighting total. SA must be the favourites but let's see how our bowlers perform.
From 2/0 up to danger of losing it 2/3 must be quite a setback.

Like the previous games, Rashid once again got out to a very poor shot...Im not to sure about his place in the team as well as he hasn't done as well with the gloves either.

Ok the target for SA is 193 but what could be the best strategy to bowl them out under 150...something must be amazing... :)

I think the captain should give 4 overs each to the pacers with great caution and watch that they not conceding lots of runs and then bring Hafeez with the assignment to for a MUST 3 wickets spell...some imagination...hmmmmmm
well if u were sleeping through out the game u probably would n't notice that Pakistan was struggling very bad and that 192 is a hard achieved total. I must say 200 was at atleast what I expected but 192 is just 8 runs short and I know its tough but something for Pakistani ballers as a challenge.
The average on that field is 216 so Pakistan is only 24 runs short.
Today if Pakistan loses it wont be beacause of bad fielding (maybe) or bad balling it would once again be the usual TOP ORDER. I mean what was selection comittee thinking playing Mohammed Hafeez again, and even if he played he hould have been sent down the line.
accordingto some white cmmentrator, "Shoaib Akhter had no reason to play such a shot on the 3rd ball but it wasnt his fault its te Pakistani top order who leave it to the tail handers" now I say that Pakistani player would have told shoiab to whatever he could and get atleast 200 and he was doing his job, he played blindly hoping to get 4 or a 6 didnt make it, too sad but I still say he played amazing because our top order couldn't even make 1 run. and Shoaib is just a baller and he atleast tried without wastin balls.
Rashid Latif tried and was amazing. SAMI, hell of a performance, the power he played the ball with and got caught was incredible, and the catch, one of the most spectacular I have ever seen and will c, the strength of the ball made the guy do a 180 and that was amazing.
So overall disappointing top order but in the end a score which is very hard to defend against a team like SA but still we do have some top of the line ballers.
and one last thing South African are not human they are freaks, their dropped catches wont be even attempted by Pakistanis, SA's fielding is not the usual fielding, it is some'n ver incredible and spectacular.

they shud've brought moin or humayun farhat instead of him.

well yes his batting was slightly disappointing in prev games but i think he and Sami have managed to get to this tottal in the end which is a big achivement, lets hope we defend it
I’d like to pay tribute to the Pindi crowd who gave great and undeserved support to this Pakistan team despite the fact that they have put in two spineless batting performances back to back. Everything from team selection to to weak body language has reeked of defeatism. You wouldn’t think we had won the toss
For me Inzimam declaring himself fit then being chased down by the S African fielders while limping along just about summed up the whole performance. A complete joke.
Danish Kaneria, hell of a performance, the power he played the ball with and got caught was incredible, and the catch, one of the most spectacular I have ever seen and will c, the strength of the ball made the guy do a 180 and that was amazing.

Danish was not out, it was sami who was out by a very impressive catch

Yes, but as an experienced player, I think he needs to step up...Sami was lending good support to him and Rashid played such a poor shot to get out for 2 games in a row...I mean we all know he such a better player then that, but has just got out to very ordinary deliveries.
Well done to Sami btw for showing some balls. Yoyo has played well this series but he played rubish today, Younis fiddled around and departed before making any impression as usual and Haffez...well what can I say. it's not his fault he keps getting selected.
Thats not the thing...Younis, Yasir, Inzamam, Malik, Rashid, Razzaq...all made a few runs, got into double figures...got the starts which they required, and got out to poor shots with the exception of Inzamam.
Well. last three batsmen Razzaq, Rashid and Sami were the reason pakistan almost managed to bat out the fifty overs. Otherwise 80-5 in 25 overs, well not many ppl were banking on them to get past 150.
Luck wasnt on our side as well, Sami's blazing shot got stuck in Kallis' buckets even though i m not so sure he was actually trying to catch it. It turned out to be a brilliant catch but i think it was more of a evasive action as he was looking into the sun and jumped in the hope it would evade him :D
