The wicket is playing slower than it should and maybe the identical spin tri of Malik Hafiz and Saqlain will do the rick for us :)
p.s it would be intersting to see three bowlers of same action (almost) bowling in one innings :D

On this ground the par score is supposedly 220 but I think that might have something to do with reverse swing factor which doesn't come into play any more. I think it's just about defendable as we have 3 spinners and this being a day game conditions should suit us.
Very important that the opening bowlers bowl a tight spell initially, if they can keep Gibbs and Smith in check then I fancy our spinners to hold the rest of the batsmen down.

I think more imp. is that they get gibbs and kallis out
2.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Gibbs, OUT: Gone! good length ball, outside off,
swings away, catch the outer edge of the Gibbs bat in the hands of
Rashid Latif, who takes a simple catch behind the stumps
a four then OUT…
thanx Shoaib…
aik mooseebat to gayee :bhangra:
2.6 Shoaib Akhtar to Kallis, no run, another fast delivery outside off,
Kallis tries to force it off the backfoot, beaten, appeal for
catch behind, declined by Hair, replay shows there was a big nick,
lucky escape for Kallis

Here is the proof, the snickometer confirming that Kallis snicked the ball.
Shoaib is bowling beautifully so far. Snared Gibbs and with any justice would have picked up Kallis too with Daryl Hair missing a clear nick which saw the major SA batsman caught behind.
