Stumps - Day 3
SA 76/3 and lead by 235 runs.

If SA plays till lunch tomorrow I think PAK can draw the match. I am sure Smith will go for a kill but what time he will let Pak bat that all depends on the score. I would say 350 or 400 but than can SA reach 350? Tomorrow will be interesting.

Ehsan bhai. One cannot deny that it was the partnership between captain and vice captain which brought us closer to follow on. Butt didn’t play badly despite being not 100 percent and occupied the crease to allow Malik to get the scoring.

I know you dont want him in the team but watch him score a century in second innings

Those of us who were talking about ASIM KAMAL should remember that PCB only looks at those players who know someone somewhere...or are no1 on their list for some other reason.
Asim's stuck fighting against tough odds. You have Faisal with a big "pawwa" standing in the middle, holding the way to the middle order.
This will keep him out inplace of Faisal who has a very important uncle with a big mouth looking out for him. Asim and Faisal are not even in the same league as far as some of us are concerned. Give Faisal a teether and let Asim be the next no.4 for Pakistan as far as I am concerned.

i still think Pak is in danger as they have to bat the whole day and may be another sessions to avoid defeat. Allah kaaray kay kur lein but it sure seems difficult.

LoL! aray for Pakistan’s sake I hope mai nahi sathya gaya. I am talking because of ‘Nazria-e-zaroorat’ I will take him any day over Farhats, Taufeeqs and Hafeezs. In my view Yasir Hameed and Butt should be given an extended run as openers in tests.

nazria-zarorat tu bhee kehta hay kay Salman butt should not be the VC and we should have a batsmen with a test match temperament i.e. Asim Kamal in the side in absence of yousuf and inzi.

Basically, we are in deep sh*t with a huge South African lead of 235 on a horrible track for batting. Save us, Yousuf and Akhtar (for the next match).

Pakistan can draw this test match since SA will most likely bat til lunch or tea depending on the rate they score. Pakistan will probably have to survive 4 sessions.

I think SA will go for more than lunch, probably tea or 1 hour before tea, they might be able to get a lead of around 420 (the popular number in Pakistan govt these days :D)

Pakistan has to get all of their wickets before lead of 300 else we can say bye bye to this match and focus on Inzi's farewell game :)
