Re: Pakistan vs NZ - Second ODI @ Abu Dhabi - Friday 6th Nov
RRR is 6.69, they have to keep it below 7, remember what happened to India yesterday despite a gem from tendi.

Butt ko kyon 20s mein break lag gayee hai??? 29 of 46 - that's slow
No one will ever convince me that Butt is a batsmen. ![]()

This will put a lot of pressure on the middle order...
people in our locality call Rahul Dravid the ‘TUK TUK MASTER’ ![]()
Yeah...probably M.Nazar was a distant second :) But who can forget Gavaskar's 36 runs that he scored after batting through** 50** overs in the Prudential World Cup ? That has to be the slowest innings in an ODI ever...
In fact from 60 overs
Re: Pakistan vs NZ - Second ODI @ Abu Dhabi - Friday 6th Nov
I watched that 36 off gavaskar, what the hell was he thinking. Personally I still rate him the best Indian batsmen ever, even better than Tendi but that is my opinion.
16.2
Vettori to Khalid Latif, OUT, dead plumb. It was the arm ball on the middle stump line. Latif went back and failed to put bat to ball. It would have crashed into leg and middle
*Khalid Latif lbw b Vettori 45 (52b 6x4 0x6) SR: 86.53 *
Chalo gee chutti hui....
They have not seen Mudassar batting I guess … Dravid is MASTER BLASTER when compares to MN ![]()

Re: Pakistan vs NZ - Second ODI @ Abu Dhabi - Friday 6th Nov
Interesting :-
Umari: "I for one like the restrained approach displayed by Butt and Latif, as a kiwi fan mentioned earlier, it serves pakistan well. I have rarely seen any Pakistan's chase where they lost becuase they were behind the 8-ball, its mainly because they didnt have enough wickets when the big hitting was required, so keeping fingers crossed, i am hoping this tactic works again today."
In fact from 60 overs
True - I stand corrected :)
Re: Pakistan vs NZ - Second ODI @ Abu Dhabi - Friday 6th Nov

Reminds me of the younis-malik partnership in the champion's trophy against India . they were batting like snails at the start..

It was Yousef-Malik.

Gavaskar was probably the best Indian test batsman, but if you look across formats Sachin is much better.
Somehow I have always found Gavaskar to be over rated - maybe something about his personality that puts one off :)
