This match really opened up my eyes, it doesn't matter if you are playing NZL B team or Afghanistan, never to take anyone lightly.
From looking @ the figures, Shabbir, Malik, Razzaq bowled well earlier on and Kaneria & Sami were expensive.
Definitly going with 5 bowlers on a pitch full of runs is suicidal, Pakistan should go in with Azhar or Gul in the next game in place of Mizbah.
just tell me one thing. are we (north american viewers) gonna be able to watch match 2-5.

Moin khan is a fighter and I’m glad he is beginning to pick up his game. Rashid latif on other hand is a great wicket keeper but the impresison I got was that he was just playing cricket for the sake of captaincy. He wasn’t passionate enough, getting injured, opting out, taking breaks from cricket was a sign of a tired player.
Anyways so much for not able to chase! daayom 291 to win and wrapping it up with couple of overs to spare is something you don’t see very often. I’m glad we won :k:

Geo will televise 2nd Pak-NZ ODI live

KARACHI: Geo will televise 2nd one day international of the five matches Dhamaka Series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Monday, Geo news channel reported on Sunday.
The live transmissions of the first match on Saturday were not televised due to some reasons. The matter was resolved after President Pervez Musharraf’s intervention, the Geo news channel said.
Federal Minister of Information Shaikh Rashid Ahmed will address a press conference in Islamabad in this respect.
