Missed most of the game because of work but NZ have totally outplayed Pakistan today. And who would have thought that after Akhtar bowled McCullum in the very first over. Pak lost it completely in the death overs, NZ were 210/6 after 45.5 overs which means they added 90 odd in the last 4 overs!! All the bowlers got spanked except Gul
This was Pakistan's first test of chasing a target under lights in this cup and they are really striuggling 44/4. Chasing runs is often more tough in ODI, 250 would have tested Pakistan never mind 303 which was always going to be stiff......better to be found out now than at the business end of the tournament
Agreed. But there are "systemic" issues in the team.
1. Wicket keeper needs to be axed.
2. Fielding is pathetic
3. Openers not showing any signs of decency.

Its a bad day at office. It happened in WC T20 and in 1992 as well so no point losing hope.
