I thought the schedule was already set, i.e. regardless of who finishes 1 or 2, the teams will proceed as seeded?

In the next round it's B2 vs. D2. Pakistan is 2nd in B so they'll play whoever loses in today's match between South Africa and New Zealand.

Looks like Pakistan will play India, Sri Lanka/West Indies and South Africa/New Zealand in the next round. Getting tougher.
