I was thinking the same thing...

so finally our bowling looking sharp, everybody bowled well with waqar and wasim a little expensive but as long as the wickets were going down with being a little expensive isn't that bad.

I think Afridi and Younis Khan should finish things for Pakistan.

Afridi is now launching his assault

7.6 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, SIX, well pitched up outside off stump,
sliced it over extra cover, SIX again
7.5 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, outside off stump, cracked it through
the covers
7.4 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, no run, defended
7.3 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, no run
7.2 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, SIX, over pitched, hits it high in the air,
clearing long off fence
7.1 Odoyo to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, on his pads, clipped it nicely in the
air over backward square leg

44 / 2 in 8.4 overz
afridi : 26
younus : 6

Afridi gone.

11.4 Angara to Shahid Afridi, OUT: typical Afridi, danced down the
track, tried a big hit, outter edge, high in the air, well taken
by Toni Suji at thirdman

Afridi is incapable of understanding the seriousness of the situation. What was required was steady batting and patience not stupidity.

very true.
but those things can also be said about anwar and malik.
typical afridi innings.
comes in score quick 30 runs, run rate gets high and gets out.
not bad.

lets see what Mizbah can do.
perfect chance for him.

most of us don't get afridi's way of play.
he comes in scores 30 runs in 10 balls and gets out.
or some other player like Younis Khan comes in and scores 30 runs in 60 balls and gets out.
whats the difference?

Yes many people dont get his way of play. Not many ever will. If Younis Khan stays in for 60 balls and score 30 runs he will be involved in probably two partnerships of say 40 runs each, provide stability and not put unnecessary pressure on incoming batsmen. Thats the difference and that what probably Afridi is incapable of understanding.

Pakistan wins the match with Kenya. At last some sense and purpose shown by Younis Khan and Misbah in their batting. Misbah getting 50 as well.

**Pakistan 181/3
Kenya 179 all out.

Younis Khan 87 not out, Misbah 50 not out. Partnership of 127 runs off 162 balls.

Well played lads, put Saeed, Malik and Afridi to shame.**
