There's a tradition in pakistani cricket. If top order starts getting out silly, then everyone follows. I don't think Aamir would have made any differece.

what do u mean? In the whole tournament top order has failed and Moin/Akram have saved Pakistan. Even today, Moin did his best and the fact that Akram came so late suggests he is sick as reported.
Aamir Sohail would have made a difference, no doubt. He is better that Afridi+Malik in English conditions. Also Anwar does well with him.
