I thought Salman Butt batted really well in this game and looked a class act. He did go thru a lean patch in late 2005/early 2006 (who does n't?) and there are even reports of Inzi's personal problems with him. Whatever the reasons for ignoring him, if Pakistan had taken Butt instead of Farhat to SA, I am pretty sure he would have impressed everyone enough to be in our World Cup squad. Hafeez deserved to be in the squad on recent form but I would have taken Butt instead of Arafat who may not even play a single serious game plus we have enough all-rounders in the squad already.

Why how come? have the selectors gone mad? like they havent taken the match winners while they have taken buzrig people like rana navid or whatever that gunja's name it - all the hafiz's are playing in the team ;S
