honestly this defeat does not even register when compared to disappoitment of the w.i. world cup. i am proud of our team. pak cricket is back and we have players who can perform in style like our older teams.

God I wish people in India weren't so fanatical about cricket. I was so scared that people would be committing suicide left and right if India had lost like they were doing after the big upset during WI cricket world cup this year.

I think Misbah has some emotional problem. He is good player but go banana when few runs are left to win.

In last India Vs Pakistan group match, he played beautifully to take Pakistan from losing position to winning position, than could not manage 1 runs in last two balls.

Today against India, he did the same. Misbah played beautiful bringing Pakistan from losing position to winning position. Than gone banana when all was in hand and Paksitan needed 4 runs in 4 balls.

sorry man it still shows that pak team depends on the heroics of a handful of lads in each game. Thats not the way to be powerful, that means no consistency, that means when heroics fail..team fails.

Misbah wasn't going for a six, he was going for a FOUR. He should've seen that the fielder was there though. The ball was pretty ordinary, if he had played it straight, he could've easily hit it for a SIX.

it is never wise to think in hindsight.....hafeez dropped the catch, younis played too slow blah blah....the fact of the matter is that our players could not hold on to their nerves and lost six wickets for 80.....what msbah was trying to do was a miracle...and he almost did it.......that is why it hurts more....

Miandad hit a 6 on the last ball of the match...Misbah still had 4 balls to play just to make 6 runs to win...what a fiasco or stupidity...

PS: You don't dump the WC by playing bad shot when it was never needed...
