You are correct on several counts....but I have noticed that lately it is Pakistan (used to be India earlier) who display a very nervous body language in crunch situations. The bowl-out was an example.
Yes. Its clear that in multinational cups, India expect* to beat us. It shows in how they approach the games. Cant blame them for that confidence, we have never come out on top....yet. :(

both teams are pretty well matched. last 10 matches, record is 5-5. overall pak has beaten india 2/3 which is an awesome record.
key i feel is how well pak manages key match ups. team has to decide when to send afridi i.e. against what sort of bowlers will he have good success? in my opinion against indian medium pacers.
similarly youvraj has been hitting sixes against ast bowlers. so it would be helpful to bring afridi against him.

I don't know how much metal block will play a role in this match. Most of the players are young and new. Unless we believe in curse or jinks.

Its not the overall picture you need to look at. The dynamics of WC's are totally different, and here we seem to come undone against India. Be it nerves, pressure, self doubt-or simply that by coincidence India have outplayed us 5/5 in WC games...there is a trend.
No one would be happier then me to see Pak lift the trophy, but I am weary after so many WC defeats to the Old Enemy.

dynamics of world cup dont matter. pak lost to india in 92 and went on to win the w.c. again, pak lost in 99 and played the final. in w.c, who wins the last game is what is important.

most players from pak team did not play in the 2003 w.c. they wont be carrying any scars.

Wow, now that was a googly! :) PDT is pacific daylight time (west coast time) and it seems it's exactly 12 hours apart from the Pak standard time.
