Sofar Pakistan has not won a single 50 Overs Cricket Worldcup match against India!
On Paper:
Pakistan’s bowling has been dealt serious blows with the absence of Junaid and Gul and it’s yet to see how effective Ajmal will be if he can be part of the playing XI against the arch rival at all. The Batting is it’s usual fragile itself. Only Misbah displayed some form against NZ in the most recent outing.
India’s bowling is a constant mater of concern and it was exposed against AUS and ENG in the recently concluded tri-series down-under. The Batting is heavily dependent on Virat Kohli and to some extent on Ajinkya Rahane. Both showed they can bat on fast bouncy pitches
The Ground: The Adelaide is said to host the most sub-continental pitches of all Australian grounds, means spinners will play a part and it’ll be easier for the Asian batters.
Players to watch:
Pakistan: For Misbah, Afridi, Younis, Ajmal (if he plays a role at all) surely last outing when it comes to an 50 Overs CWC.
India: Dhoni is going to retire but lets see who follows him suit
Let’s cheer the teams instead of results and please refrain from getting personal … After all it’s just a cricket match which is Pakistan is going to win insha’Allah (otherwise i’ll get banned )
