Is it worth gambling Fakhar Zaman in place of Azhar Ali against India? Him being left-handed is another advantage. Sarfraz needs to come up the order, @ 2-down after the openers and Babar Azam.

Unknown gentleman was a member of Pakistan’s World Cup winning team of 1992! Don’t always agree with Aamir Sohail, he is fiery and unpredictable sometimes, but here he’s absolutely right.

To be fair this Tuk Tuk culture is partly Misbah’s legacy. We are still struggling to get out of that rut.
Misbah did a commendable job as test captain (not as ODI captain) but he was a defensive captain albeit an able one. Kardar, Imran, Mushtaq Mohammad and Miandad were all attacking captains and better than Misbah imo.

None of them match his record made all the more better because he never played at home and always had a mediocre team at his disposal. Still the only Pakistani captain to whitewash england and Australia, no ifs and buts.

I just wish if Sharjeel Khan had not done what he did, he could be the game changer here. Now it goes back to the mode where we can only make dua. On these batting pitches, Pakistan may again struggle.
As point raised earlier, I’ll all for including Fakhar Zaman in place of Azhar. If fate is to lose, we better lose with more youngsters with a higher strike rate.
Same goes in bowling. Pak needs to forget Wahab’s one match spell (ref worldcup against Aus) and include Junaid in place of him.
This is a very weak team. A win will be a miracle.

Shahzad need to play faster in this match . Not slogging but try to play ground shots rather than keep blocking or leaving. Grounds r fast . They only need to get the ball in gaps. If they block 2 3 balls n than drive it is not going to work.
If they bat first they need to remember that mat h will be reduced.
