Pakistan vs India Asia Cup -18 March 2012

Re: Pakistan vs India Asia Cup -18 March 2012

The match under discussion is the one played in Dhaka, not in Mohali. And you could keep your condescending pontification to yourself because I could care less what your players did in Peshawar or Lahore, and certainly would not take offensive if they celebrated with drums or bells or displays of Gods in those grounds. In this case, moreover, the hosts were Bangladeshis and I am sure they would not have thought that their land became paleet if some player kissed the ground for a moment or two. Some players kiss their bats, some kiss the ground when they achieve a milestone. I don’t see anything offensive unless the player starts surmonizng or starts belittling the opponent with his gestures or words. But yes, if the opponet side is likely to take offense and equate thanking God with hurling abuses then yes such behavior should be avoided…
