We can also bat till lunch the 5th day. The question is why? When we can get a 500+ lead with 2 days to go, why go for a insane target of 650? This wicket is flat and our bowlers will need all the time they can get.

yeah, i would prefer to see india bat in the morning (with moisture and etc) and our bowlers new ball, than in the afternoon heat.

I understand where you are coming from Ehsan bhai, lekin there is something called confidence in your bowlers and having an agressive mindset and playing positive cricket. I wanna see a result in this match and we have a very good chance to win.

Yes but there is something called pressure which was absent at Lahore. World record for 4th innings chase is 400 odd and for this stadium it is 300 odd. This certainly isn’t the flattest wicket the world has ever seen. Tendulkar was getting serious turn, and the bounce is inconsistent. Not to mention this is a series decider.

In normal circumstances I would agree with you but 2 full days play and Indian batting line up, I would rather err on the side of caution.

There will be something for the bowlers in the pitch as it crumbles, like all flat wickets crumble, on the 5th day. Dont think the ball is gonna come on to the bat that nicely when India bats again.
