The tracks are disgusting. I simply didnt wake up until 9am today. I normally happily go without food and sleep to watch each second of Indo-Pak cricket.

120.3 Asif to Pathan, 1 run, outside off and swinging away, Pathan drives and gets an edge, Kamran dives to his left, drops a pretty simple chance, dropped!
Dunttoo's (akmal) keeping is not upto the mark, dropping catches or missing stumping chances at crucial junctures has and will continue to haunt the Pakistani team.
Another sad day for Pak bowlers, they tried their best, but a placid pitch and atrocious fielding let them down.
Rahul and his merry men demonstrated the skill set required when batting second with a daunting score of 588 runs. The wall has character and leads by example, Dhoni is going to be around for a very long time.

looks like another draw unless pakistan can get 5 quick wickets in the morning, have a 100 lead bat all of day 4 to make 400 ish altogether then on the 5th day wicket tell india to bat and get them all out

Wouldn’t it be an irony of ironies if after all this, India overtake Pak total and impose a lead?
Anyway, reading through the GS commentary this morning was very entertaining, as if I was up watching the math..thx everyone, keep it coming for the benefit of those of us who have to sleep at night.

^ why.. India still has a deficit to overcome. Few wickets tomorrow morning is enouhgh for pakistan to be back in the game. These two are not specialist batsmen and do not have the class of dravid and laxman to stitch up a huge partner ship. Today they managed, but tomorrow is a totally different day.
I am surprised at shoib not bowling enough overs.

Dhobi I mean Dhoni has batted well :k: and so has Pathan, good job by Indian batting by scoring well under pressure. Seems like our bowlers couldn’t extract much from the pitch yesterday. Asif was bowling well but there wasn’t much seam movement or swing, only ‘hints’ of movement/swing. Razzaq bowled 10 no-balls

Afridi was getting more spin from the wicket than Kaneria speaks of the learning skill of Afridi :k:
Now that gap is only ~140 with 5 wickets still in hand. If we manage to get them all out before lunch tomorrow that’d mean Ind will be close to 550 by then we’ll have to score ~350 1 hour before lunch and put India to bat… but would we be able to score 350 :halo: I sure hope so!

Pakistan will be in more trouble if they take wickets early tomorrow. I am assuming India will wipe out the deficit or get close to wiping it off. In either case, Pakistan will have to bat under pressure, minus two of their main batsmen, against a rejuvenated Indian attack. A 300+ target won't be difficult for India to achieve on the last day.
