Average bowling, poor fielding and shocking captaincy. It will take an Afridi special to get us out of this hole now. India shouldn't have any problems posting something close to 350.

First 100 in 19th or 20th over, but second 100 scored only after 39 overs (I was afriad they might do it by 32nd). I am happy it's not AS bad as it could have been. There's only SO MUCH you can hit in the last 10 overs, and sometimes you can't even do that very well despite having wickets (funny shots getting you out, bad slogs).

It also shows that it is not too easy to score quickly in the later stages of the innings...

ture ... with nine wickets in hand they should have got 250 in 40 overs. thanks to Afridi for tight bowling. still India looks set for 300+ unless we pick up couple of quick wickets

Indian batting so far reminds of Pakistan's first cricket match against West Indies in '92 world cup. No batting collapse, yet Pakistan only managed to score 210 runs after 50 overs with Rameez scoring a century.

Here also, they have only scored 210 after 40 overs despite losing only one wicket. If Pakistan can keep things tight in the last 10, it's quite possible to restrict them under 300 -- something that shouldn't have happened after the opening partnernship Sehwag and Dravid pulled together.

Lol just beacuse who scaores against pakistan at 65 a mtach and has got 3 half centuries and a century in 11 matches.. Looks set to get another 50 soon
