India WINS by 5 wickets with 4.4 overs to spare!!!

Pakistan’s dream of beating India goes unrealized. it was indeed a bowlers’ pitch…three Indian players got OUT for a DUCK and one got out for 1.

Barring Amir’s bowling spell [3 for], the game was very much dominated by Indians. well deserved win, thanks to Virat.

Congrats Indian fans, well bowled Amer :slight_smile:

Pakistani batsmen need to watch Kohli and learn how to build an innings on a difficult pitch, how he targeted certain bowlers (played Amer cautiously) and certain deliveries and above all how Kohli rotated the strike & put the fielders under pressure instead of going for big shots all the time.

Pakistans batting was pathetic led by a pathetic captain but at the same time the batting line up from Mars struggled big time and lost 5 wickets while overhauling a sub par total so much for their batting

true! he is a class in his own. i wish him best of luck. he sensationalised the game right away sending the three batsmen to the pavilion. if other bowlers in the beginning took a wicket right after [Sami for instance] the game could have turned upside down for Indians.

anyway, Pakistan has to prove that they can face pressures and absorb them in the remaining matches. i would love to see India and Pakistan in the FINAL.

come on Pak, you can do it!

I saw in the Espn commentary section Yuvraj survived a yuuuge lbw shout. Pathetic that India struggled to get to this measly total.

It is a negative that Yuvraj played for such long time. Now he gets umpteen chances to slow india inning down.

Shreyas Iyer has been lighting it up in the domestic circuit. But same retread keep getting chances.

I’ve said before, that until we get rid of these old tired horses, things will not improve much. Hafeez, Afridi, Malik, Akmal, Shahzad, all need to be kicked out PERMANENTLY. Anyone with attitude should not be in the team.

If Asif had been there…it would have been game over!

I actually didn’t feel too disappointed with match..coz they took 5 wickets and made the batsmen very nervous…so that was fun to watch.
