They all keep blaming each other. I heard Iqbal Qasim on geo super and he was speaking regarding injustice to karachi players. When asked about Asim Kamaal's non selection during his time in charge, he was like well uss waqt tu Asim ki performance mediocre thi. lol! :)

National Assembly's Sports Committee chairman was on TV other days and he said
"I have 100% credible news that Zulqarnain Haider is not injured to the extent that he cant play. He was forced to leave England so Kamran can play by Lobby backing Kamran"
I am not sure if we can trust a politician but given public supposed from Tipu Salman Butt for Kamran, its not beyond possible.

Asim Kamal will never play again for Pakistan. I can guarantee you that. Every single administration has screwed him over and even though he performed when called upon by the senior team, they always preferred Faisal Iqbal and Shoaib Malik over him in the middle order probably because of whoever had the biggest parchi behind him. So now, Asim Kamal (my cricket sources from Karchi told me) he has been very disheartened and has not be putting in a lot of effort playing for his club and skips practice session and is not dedicated anymore. They source told me that he took the snub really to heart and got totally disheartened with cricket.

Pakistan will most likely keep the same XI as the Oval test. Now, they need to do the best to win this test match and level the series. Captain, Coach and players should layout a very aggressive plan and play accordingly. There is no way in the world they cant do it. But yes, this time again they'll have to bat well as it'll be slightly different conditions.
These five days will be really interesting to watch!! :)

He's 34 already so the age is not on his side. Perhaps that's the reason he has not perform well in recent times. But I agree, another talent wasted by PCB.

Broad threw the ball at ZH when he was in his 20s. He scored 60 odd more runs with a hairline fracture and a smile. Hard to believe.

It would be unfair but if needed I would bring Younis for Hameed.
why? why not get rid of farhat?
Hameed is better than him.

Sad to hear this. To me Asim Kamal is the most complete batsman of his generation. He made a great case of being part of ODI team as well, after scoring those quick fire 65 runs in the second inning, helping pak gain enough lead before the 4th day ends. Sadly he was not included in the ODI and also dropped from the test side.

Asim Kamal looked quite good, but, i think Miandad/Faisal Iqbal are reason for his drop.

Because Asim Kamal competed with him for the spot. After the openers, we had 3 solid batsmen, Younus, Yousaf and Inzamam, that left place for only one newcomer. It could be either him or Faisal or Malik.

Kamran Akmal can not have two consecutive decent matches. I am expecting him to continue with his horrible villainous show.
