did Wahab actually bowl as well as his figures suggest or was it one of those cases when Asif/Aamer built all the pressure but the batsmen conceded their wickets on the other end to Wahab?

Wahab bowled quite well. He was fast (around 88-89 mph throughout), on target, and aggressive. There’s nothing you can ask more from a fast bowler.
