Sami has usually been a blocking player. Shoaib would have been the one that tries to hit out. Sami has a good defensive technique compared to our other bowlers thats why he normally comes in as nightwatchman. I highly doubt Sami would try to open his shoulders this morning. He would just stay there as long as he could but I doubt he would be able to rotate the strike.
we r up for an exciting first session gentlemen … we need to play positive cricket tonight … last thing i wana see is our players defending and loosing wickets as jazba_pk said; we do have a little momentum (if not a lot cuz of younis-arghhh) … i would love to see Hasan Raza finally play like a man when he gets his turn and shift the game in our favor.
A few more minutes before the start of an exciting day of cricket in Pakistan and yet another sleepless night here. Damn the match timings suck, I am yawning at work all day.
Well the match will be decided today, depends on how long Pakistan can bat AND if anyone shows the guts to kick on and get a big score.
It will be interesting to see what Sami does in the morning, he won't be able to rotate the strike and if the 1st innings was anything to go by he was absolutely clueless. I wouldn't mind some slogging. After all no point in doing a Hoggard and get 1 run in 22 balls because we need build a lead too.
