Whoever started this rumor is lying, the match is still schedualed for tommorrow.
I just can't wait 22 more hours till Pakistan takes one step closer to becoming the best One Day team in the world.
I predict that Azhar will play, eventhough I don't think he should be played but selectors are in some kind of illusion that you must play 4 fast bowlers to win a match against Australia, not true at all!
We need dependable batsman and thats what Shoaib malik has, may not be a wicket taking bowler but his batting has impressed me alot.
I want malik to replace Azhar and other 10 are perfectly fine.
I see there is no more Afridi bashing here since he has shut up all haters here.

As far as I'm concerned all 11 players can bat, waqar showed his improvement in the last game and we already know shoaib is a good batsman.
Saeed Anwar is still yet to face ball in this tournament and that is a big risk, I don't expect him to get into double figures, Imran nazir has to play a good innings here or he might not even be picked for the next tour.
Youhana, Inzi, Khan have already showed their inform in this tour, Shahid Afridi will come in handy especially if Australia set pakistan a big target then he can open along nazir, have saeed come in 3.
Rashid Latif is a good batsman and can handle fast bowlers really well.
Wasim is also another good player of fast bowlers since he is one, and he has no problems with leg spinners.

As far as I can ascertain the match is on tomorrow. There is no Afridi haters here, all we wanted was that Afridi is not send in as an opener and that objective has been met. Azhar should be dropped and replaced with Sami.

In case of waqar not playing, the best replacement for him is Azhar Mahmood and not Sami as I see hi better for test matches than one days.
he says he has problems with his hamstring when he takes a run up.
My only problem is that Inzi will takeover as captain and god forbid what he is going to do.
I miss Wasim as a captain and believe me if Pakistan would have won the world cup final in 1999, he would be praised as highly as Imran Khan as a captain.

Bad news, Inzi is going to have knee surgery.
Good news is that he will play in the last one day.
