That is the problem with our selection thats why Afridi is in team, Shoaib Malik is in the team, don’t know what favor was done by Imran Nazir (may be to selectors?? :hmmm: ), that is our one of core problems we stick to our favors, ‘he failed in past umpteen times but this time he will fire’.

Captain. - watched Shoaib Manlike for 1st time yesterday. He was really classy batsman I thought.

Dun expect such statements from you…Do we have a replacement of Afridi in our bench?Just give me answer of this…Now dun say replace Afridi with Asad…You can only replace a legspinner with leg spinner …Do we have one? No

No, we do replace Afridi with Asad.
Someone that can give you a good 20-30 runs, as opposed to someone who last 20-30 seconds while batting. It’s a no-brainer (ha, there’s that word again). And besides, we already have enough people to bowl the required overs - Ajmal Razzaq, Gul, Hafeez, and Malik. There is no rule that says you have replace a leg spinner with a leg spinner.
Afridi is only here for marketing reasons - I have already said that the guy is over the top. Most people over the age of 40 are. The only saving grace he had in recent times was his bowling, and that’s gone down the gutter. Case in point: Afridi used to bowled or LBW other batsmen. Now most of his wickets are when opposing batsmen are attacking and get caught out after a mis-hit.
That’s the sign of a a bowler low on everything - including confidence.

Aussies batting first scoring 170+ ..... Pakistan losing by 20+ runs
Pakistan batting first scoring 140+ ..... Aussies finishing it off in 16-17 overs
I just hope i'm wrong :(
