I think Ponting missed a trick today by not bringing back Lee (who had three overs left) straight after Afridi's predictable dismissal. He needed wickets. You cannot really contain a team when defending 200 +/- totals

Yeah he did but right after the 2overs lee bowled he went to the pavilion and afridi was out and u cant bowl straight away when u come from the pavilion i think so

I think most here feel as if Pak won the Final or sumfin…

Winning against Aussies and then so comprehensively is no small feat…

So many milestones and records set:

  1. Aussies defeated after many Worldcups today
  2. Defeated by None other than Pakistan
  3. Defeated comprehensively
  4. Pakistan top the table in the league matches
  5. Shoaib did not play still pakitan demolished aussies for a low total
  6. Younis and Misbah were removed but the young guys took the ship home
  7. The Underdogs are now being considered with some skepticism for the WC final
  8. No one single player showed the way, rather it was a full all out team effort from Pakistan
  9. Pakistan won by chasing under lights
  10. Now Pakistan won’t have to face Saffies in QF :smiley:

Yeah ur right it was nothing small than winning a Final and now we are geared up for the QF against the Windies hopefully and win that one too :jhanda: :insh:
